Margaret Marie (Blohm) Voltmer went to be with her Lord and Savior on her 93 rd birthday on November 2, 2017 at Tiffany Heights Care Center in Mound City, Missouri.
Margaret was born November 2, 1924 to Peter and Frieda (Drewes) Blohm. She was baptized on November 30, 1924 and became a child of God. On June 19, 1938 Margaret publicly confessed her faith and was confirmed into the Lutheran faith.
On September 21, 1944 she received the gift of a loving companion in her husband, Earl. They were blessed with the gift of five children, Wayne Earl, Karen Marie, Darrel Gene, Dale Dean and Neal Leon.
Margaret was also blessed with 15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
God blessed Margaret’s life with many special people as she served God in her vocations at home, church, work and in the community.
Funeral services: Monday, Nov. 6, 2017, 10:00 am, Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Mound City, Missouri. Family visitation: Sun., Nov. 5, 2017, 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Chamberlain Funeral Home, Mound City. Interment: I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Craig, Missouri. Memorials: Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Lutheran Hour Ministries, or LCMS Mission Central.
