Marilouise Schenk

Marilouise (Fuhrman) Schenk was born in Hanna, Wyoming on October 28, 1924, the only child of Otto Dean and Buella (Huiatt) Fuhrman.

Marilouise attended Oregon High School. On July 4, 1943 she married Eldon Charles "Charlie" Schenk in Gower, Missouri. They became parents of one son, Riley.

Marilouise operated a bookstore at Big Lake for many years. She and Charlie wintered in Apache Junction, Arizona for 17 years.

Marilouise passed away at a Liberty, Missouri hospital on December 31, 2015 at the age of 91.

Preceding her in death were her husband and son.

Survivors include her daughters-in-law, Lois (Darrell) Weaver, Lathrop, Missouri; and Linda (Larry) Hughes, Holt, Missouri; granddaughters, Monica  Schenk, Kansas City, Missouri, Kelley Maddox, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Blair Gross, Mission Viejo, California; and niece Debbie Straubel, Turnbull, Connecticut.

Services: Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2016, 3:30 pm, Chamberlain Funeral Home, Oregon. Family will greet friends one hour prior to the services. Inurnment: Maple Grove Cemetery. Memorials: Maple Grove Cemetery Association.
