Marion R. Howell

Marion R. Howell was born February 4, 1942 in Atchison County, Missouri. He was the son of Alfred and Stella (Price) Howell.

Marion married Deanna Fansher, and they became parents of three children. They later divorced. In 2004 he married Mary Helen Clouse. She survives of their Oregon, Missouri home.

Marion worked for MoDOT until his retirement in 1997.

Marion passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at his Oregon home at the age of 71.

Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers, Lloyd, Bill, and Jerry Howell; sister, Beverly Howell; and brothers-in-law, Don Zook and Larry Clouse.

In addition to his wife, Mary, survivors include his children and their spouses, Robbie (Brynda) Howell, Steven (Corey) Howell, Kristi (Rob) Waggoner,  and Jesseeica Clouse, all of Oregon; brother, Richard Howell of Rock Port, Missouri; sister, Shirley Fansher of Maryville, Missouri; sisters-in-law, Patricia Howell of Indianola, Iowa and Ingrid Howell of Oregon; eight grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Services were held on Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013 at 10:30 am at the Chamberlain Funeral Home in Oregon. Family visitation was held Tuesday evening from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Interment was held at 2:00 pm at Millsap Cemetery in Rock Port, Missouri. Memorials may be directed to Kendallwood Hospice or to the Holt County Cancer Fund.
