Mary M. Cain

Mary M. (Leach) Cain, 70, of New Point, passed away May 24, 2016 at a St. Joseph hospital.

She was born on September 28, 1945 in Forest City, Missouri, one of nine children of John Mac and Frances Irene (Whitlock) Leach.

Mary graduated from Forest City High School. On October 6, 1963 she married Allen Cain in Forest City, and they became parents of eight children. Allen survives of their New Point home.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Ella Louise Davis; an infant daughter; and son, Darrin.

Other survivors include their children, Tammie (David) Ruckman of Kansas City, Missouri, Rob (Teresa) Cain of Maryville, Missouri, Ramonda (Rick) Rustige of St. Louis, Missouri, Brian Cain of Conception Junction, Missouri, Amanda (Kenny) Greenland of Stanberry, Missouri, and Rachel (Chris) Carroll of Oregon, Missouri; brothers, Johnny Mac and James “Rusty” Leach, both of Forest City, Missouri, and Mike Leach of St. Joseph, Missouri; sisters, Maxine Knapp of Lenexa, Kansas, Jane Thompson and Judy Kelly, both of Maryville, and Nell Nolan of Minden, Nebraska; nine grandchildren, Brandie, Gunther, Kayla, Lisa, Natasha, Trevor, Dakota, Tristan and Braxton; three great grandchildren, Koltlen, Gracie and Kallen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
