Mary Etta (Boyd) (Norris) (Weston) Keaster, 94, of Maitland, Missouri, passed away at a Kansas City, Missouri care center on Thursday, August 11, 2022.
She was born on October 18, 1927 in Bigelow, Missouri to Walter J. and K. May (Adkison) Boyd.
Mary Etta had three children and three granddaughters. She was also "Mom, "Grandma," and "Great Grandma" to many stepchildren and their families.
She was a music lover and mentioned, when she passed, that she wanted people to remember her by singing or humming “How Great Thou Art.” Listening to records by Tennessee Ernie Ford during her younger years, she and her children would sing this song.
A graveside memorial service at Mount Hope Cemetery in Mound City is being planned for a later date.
