Max E. Hunziger

Max Ernest Hunziger was born near Forbes, Missouri on May 24, 1937 to Robert F. and Inez (Derr) Hunziger.

On December 28, 1963 he married Jacquetta “Jackie” E. Reynolds.

Jackie passed away in 2016.

Max passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020 at a St. Joseph, Missouri hospital at the age of 83.

Preceding him in death were his parents; sisters, Dorothy Stull and Helen Miller; brother, Thomas Hunziger; stepson, Michael Book; granddaughter, Amy Whitham; and granddaughter-in-law, Ashley Baker.

Survivors include his children, Dennis Reynolds, Kathy Whitham, Jim Book (Nancy Reynolds), Greg (Karen) Book, Lisa (Monty) Scroggins, Rhonda (Jeff) Huntsman, and Julie Oldham (Kelly); grandchildren, Crystal (Dwight) Sims, Angela (Mike) Wachtel, Raegan (Tom) Medsker, Jesse (Hannah) Book, Franki (Matt) Wilkins, Eric (Amanda) Book, Sarah Book (Jay), Josh (Jessica) Baker, Tyler Baker, Klayton (Christine) Book, Breannah (Eric) Milne, Camarah (Justin) Harrison, Nicholas (Shari) Greiner, Dakota Veltri, Autumn Veltri, Gage (Abbey) Huntsman, Kaleigh (Dusty) Heming, Quimby Jackson, and Ashley (Justin) Wendt; and great grandchildren, Kendall, Kourtney and Autumn Sims, Brodie Smock, Kelcie Miller, Micah and Morgan Medsker, Quayde Book, Harper Baker, Presley, Memphis, Royal, and Tiger Book, Camryn, Jordyn, and Mckinley Book, Griffin and Seger Harrison, Easton Greiner, Landen, Kinlee, and Ryker Heming, Ellie Shae Wilkins, Acen McGinnis,  Paizlee Milne, Layden Huntsman, Noelle Etherton, Addie and Toren Watson, and Kyden Wendt.

Open visitation: Wednesday, December 2, 2020, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, with the family greeting friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Chamberlain Funeral Home, Oregon. Services: Thursday, December 3, 2020, 10:30 am, Forest City Christian Church. Interment: Forest City Union Cemetery. Memorials: Forest City Christian Church or Forest City Union Cemetery.
