Merry Ann Jackson was born on August 2, 1943 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Lynn and Margaret “Marti” (Schuster) Graybill. She graduated from Tarkio High School in 1961.
On August 6, 1961 she married John Marshall “J.M.” Jackson, Jr., and they became parents of three children. She worked at McIntire Lumber, King's, George's Total, and Community Hospital Wellness Center, all in Mound City.
Merry attended the Tarkio Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed reading.
Merry passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at an Omaha hospital at the age of 76.
Preceding her in death were her parents, and two grandchildren, Allen and Sarah Agnew.
Survivors include her husband, J.M., of their Mound City home; children, Doug (Sherri) Jackson of Nebraska City, Nebraska, Shelley (John) Skidmore of Independence, Missouri, and Roxi Jackson and friend Dave, of Independence; her twin brother, Larry (Dot) Graybill of Alvin, Texas, and brother Vic (Marsh) Graybill of Maryville, Missouri; grandchildren, Shelby and Kelby Siekmann, Bobby and Trey Agnew, Christina Tix, Wynette Jackson, Jemmi Jackson, Natasha Jackson, and Mariah Meyerkorth; great grandchildren, Gunner, Damien, Dakota, Drazen, Theo, Gabe, Tru, Brayton, Ensley, and Carter; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at a later date.
