Michael Paul Sipes, Ii

Michael Paul Sipes, 47, of Oregon, passed away Friday, June 3, 2022.

He was born to his parents Mike and Leona Sipes, on August 31, 1974, in Fairfax, Missouri, at the Fairfax Community Hospital. He enrolled in school at South Holt R-1 and graduated in 1992.

On July 21, 2000, he was united in marriage to Tammy Sue Weis of Oregon. During their marriage, they were blessed with two daughters, Sydney and Abby Sipes. The couple divorced in 2007. He remarried Sherlyn Jurgensen on September 13, 2012, and divorced in 2017. Both women still played a role in his life.

Other survivors include his parents Mike and Leona Sipes of Forest City, Missouri, his sister Sonja Sipes of Oregon, Missouri, his daughters Sydney and Abby Sipes of Oregon, Missouri, his nephew Preston Foley of Troy, Kansas, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Michael was known for having several different hobbies. He had a passion for drawing, wood carving, singing, dancing, hunting, and playing the drums and guitars. He applied his skills with welding and welded for most of his life. For five years, he devoted his musical talents and played with a Christian band, Full Life Trio. He was also known for his unconditional love for Sydney and Abby.

Family visitation: Tuesday, June 7, 2022, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Chamberlain Funeral Home, Oregon, Missouri. Services: 11:00 am, Wednesday , June 8, 2022, First Christian Church, Oregon. Private family inurnment: Benton Church Cemetery, at a later date. Memorials: For the benefit of Michael's daughters, Sydney and Abby, in care of the funeral home
