Minnie L. Guyer

Minnie L. Guyer was born in Forest City, Missouri on November 30, 1938, one of six children of Cleo Carlton and Katherine Lula (Whipple) Guyer.

Minnie graduated from Forest City High School, and later worked as a CNA-Med Tech at the LaVerna Village Care Center in Savannah for many years.

Minnie passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at a Savannah, Missouri care center at the age of 86.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by two brothers, Larry Dale Guyer and Carl “Corky” Guyer.

Survivors include brothers, Glenn, of Easton, Missouri and Terry, of Union Star, Missouri; sister, Linda Martin of Mound City; and nieces, nephews and many cousins.

In her spare time Minnie enjoyed embroidery, and fishing with friends.

Funeral services: 11:00 am Friday, May 16, 2025, Chamberlain Funeral Home, Oregon. The family will greet friends beginning at 10:00 am. Interment: Maple Grove Cemetery, Oregon, Missouri. Memorials may be directed to the Maple Grove Cemetery.
