Nancy Ann Buckles

Nancy was born in Oregon on Sept. 13, 1939. She graduated from Oregon High School in 1958.

On May 1, 1964 she married Merrill Buckles. He preceded her in death.

Nancy worked for the South Holt School District for many years as a school custodian.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, William Elmer and Opal  Irene (Kuhn) Meyer; and brothers, Robert, William, Donald, and Ronald Meyer.

Survivors include her children, Carol Buckles,  Springfield, Missouri and Craig Buckles, Oregon; sisters, Linda Neiderhouse and Janet Blazer, both of Mound City, Missouri and Betty Richner of Halfway, Missouri; brothers, Richard M. Meyer of Oregon and Alvin Meyer of Bolivar, Missouri; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services: Friday, March 11, 2016, 10:30 am, Forest City Christian Church, Forest City, Mo. Family visitation: Thursday, March 10, 2016, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Chamberlain Funeral Home, Oregon. Interment: Maple Grove Cemetery. Memorials: The Forest City Christian Church, Alzheimer’s Association or charity of donor’s choice.
