Naomi Ilene Allen

Naomi Ilene Allen was born on August 3, 1940 in Vanzant, Missouri to Charles B. and Dorothy I. (Saltenberger) Anno. On June 24, 1960, she married Kenneth John "Kenny" Allen, and they made their home in Oregon, Missouri.

Ilene worked as a CNA at the Oregon Care Center for many years. She also sold Avon products and ran a daycare out of her home. Ilene enjoyed singing, and was a member of the Sweet Adelines.

Kenny passed away in 2006. Ilene passed away on March 29, 2024 at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph, Mo. at the age of 83. Also preceding her in death was her son, Kenneth Charles "Chuck" Allen, and daughter, Kristi L. Leach.

Survivors include her daughters, Debbie (Ed) Brown of St. Joseph, Mo. and Marisa (Ronny) Ray of Oregon; sister, Nina Campbell of Falls City, Nebraska; son-in-law, David Leach of Forest City, Mo.; grandchildren, Charli, Tykota, Austin, Aaron, Ryan and Chelsea; and great grandchildren, Meliah, Hunter, Caleb, and Gracie.

Funeral services: Saturday, April 6, 2024, 11:00 am, Chamberlain Funeral  Home, Oregon. Family will greet friends one hour prior to services. Private family inurnment: Maple Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Maple Grove Cemetery Association or the Holt County Cancer Fund.
