Nina married William Harold Boyd and they became parents of five children. He preceded her in death in 1991.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, George Buckles; and son-in-law, Joe Gumbinger.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Cyndia Gumbinger of Centreville, Virginia, Lydia (Bill) Field, Jeannie (Kirby) Stone, and Nathan (Kerri) Boyd, all of Mound City, and Janet (Fred) Karnes III, Phillipsburg, Missouri, 13 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services: Friday, April 3, 2015, United Methodist Church, Mound City. Family visitation: Thursday, 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm, Chamberlain Funeral Home, Mound City. Interment: Tarkio Chapel Cemetery, Fortescue. Memorials: Children's Mercy Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri.
