Nina Kay (Guy) Gardner was born on February 1, 1946 in Forest City, Missouri to Ralph and Kathleen (Stansbury) Guy. Nina attended Forest City High School.
While attending high school Nina met Harry Flint, and they were married September 10, 1961 in Oregon, Mo. On January 25, 1964 Harry and Nina became the proud parents of a baby boy, Ronnie L. Flint.
Nina was married to Bobby Gardner on the 25
th
of December, 1977.
Nina passed away on May 6, 2015 after battling cancer for twelve years. Nina remained full of life and very optimistic to the very end. Nina loved life and made the most of every day laughing and enjoying her son Ronnie, his wife Shelly, and her grandchildren.
Nina was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Guy; her mother, Kathleen Thrash; stepfather, William Thrash; and husband, Bobby Gardner.
Survivors include her ex-husband, Harry Flint of Craig; son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Shelly Flint of Fortescue, Missouri; grandsons, Colton and Brandon Flint of Fortescue, Joshua Keaster of St. Joseph, Missouri, Daylon Bomar of Tarkio, Missouri; granddaughter, Richelle Meyer of Leavenworth, Kansas; great grandson, Damion Bomar; sister, Mary Ann Showalter of Craig; nephew, Jonathan (Julie) Showalter of Oakland, Iowa; and great nieces Morgan and Sophie Showalter of Oakland and Victoria Showalter of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Graveside services and interment: Tuesday, May 12, 2015, 2:00 pm, Tharp Cemetery, Craig. Memorials: Holt County Cancer Fund.
