Pansy Madeline Weyers, age 88, passed away peacefully on Dec. 17, 2014 at Highland Care Center in Bellingham, Washington.
She was born at home in Forest City, Missouri on Aug. 22, 1926 where she joined a family of five brothers and two sisters.
Pansy was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Lillian Schaeffer, six brothers and four sisters. She is survived by her husband Hank Weyers, daughters, Pansy (Bob) George and Gayle (Rich) Tuttle, five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
Pansy enjoyed the work and the people at the Georgia Pacific Paper Mill. She worked there for thirty-four years, finishing as a quality control inspector.
Education was extremely important to Pansy, and two of her proudest moments were when her daughters graduated from college, Pansy as a RN and Gayle as a teacher.
