Patricia "Pat" Ann Buckles

Patricia Ann "Pat" (Richey) Buckles was born on April 22, 1950 in Marshalltown, Iowa to Clifford R. and Mary E. (Gartland) Richey.

Pat graduated from Bishop LeBlond High School in St. Joseph, Missouri. On August 17, 1975 she married George E. Buckles, and they became parents of two daughters.

Pat worked as a CNA at the Oregon Care Center for 30 years, retiring in 2006.

George passed away in 2014. Pat passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at her Oregon home at the age of 70.

Survivors include her daughters, Tawnya and Amanda Buckles, and granddaughter Hanna Buckles, all of Oregon; siblings, Sue (Larry) Hays of Oregon, and Dan (Robyn) Richey and Mark (Regina) Richey, all of St. Joseph; and nieces and nephews, Chris and Janey Richey, Eric Richey (Amy Thomas), Brian Richey, Tony and Betsy Richey, Joseph and Tenique Hays, and Mary Richey; and great nieces and nephews.

Pat like to "go" with the girls, and enjoyed camping and the Chiefs. She loved and spoiled her special 'dog-child,' Willow.

Funeral services: Friday, March 5, 2021, 11:30 am, Chamberlain Funeral Home, Oregon. Family will greet friends one hour prior to services. Memorials: Oregon Care Center Activity Fund, or the South Holt Athletic Booster Club.
