Patricia Chaney

Patricia K. (Faulk) Chaney, 75, formerly of Skidmore and Big Lake, Missouri passed away Dec. 14, 2015 at a St. Joseph hospital.

Born near Maitland, she married Richard Chaney in 1956 and they became parents of two children.

Richard and Patricia lived in Skidmore, and were active in community events and community betterment activities, especially involving the fire department.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Anna (Davis) Faulk; husband, Richard; brother, Jerry Faulk; sister, Doris Gallagher; and brothers-in-law, Wayne Bunnell, and Forest and LeRoy Chaney.

Survivors include her children and spouses, Jeri Ann (Dan) Carter, Barnard, Missouri, and Richard (Shawn) Chaney, Craig, Missouri; sister, Donna Bunnell, Kansas City, Missouri; brother and sister-in-law, Gary (Doris) Faulk, Collinsville, Illinois; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Chaney, Harrisonville, Missouri and Nora Chaney, El Dorado Springs, Missouri; four grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and friends.

Services: Friday, Dec. 18, 2015, 1:00 pm, Maitland Christian Church. Family visitation: Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Chamberlain Funeral Home, Mound City. Interment: Maitland Cemetery. Memorials: Maitland Cemetery or American Cancer Society.
