Patricia Ann (Collins) Wilcoxson

Patricia Ann (Collins) Wilcoxson was born on January 12, 1949 in Big Lake, Missouri. She was the daughter of Robert David and Iva Isabell (Worl) Collins. Patricia grew up in Fairfax and attended Fairfax High School.

Patricia married James A. Wilcoxson Sr. in 1968, and they became parents of three children. They later divorced.

Patricia lived in Oklahoma from 1983 to 1994 and worked for Multi-County Youth Services. She then moved back to Missouri, living in Craig and later Mound City.

Patricia passed away at her Mound City home on March 13, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Mary Beth Collins.

She is survived by her children, James A. Wilcoxson Jr. and Marla Messner, Robert E. Wilcoxson and fiancée Jessica, all of Savannah, Missouri; daughter, Laura J. Long, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; brothers, James and his wife Bonnie Block, Clarinda, Iowa, and Danny Chapasko, Loveland, Colorado; sisters, Debbie Rankin and Charlotte Dunn, both of Maryville, Missouri; stepmother, Mary Pat Wermelskirchen, Maryville; sister/best friend Janet Radley, Fairfax, Missouri; 12 grandchildren, LaTasha and Karissa Baldwin, Jordan and Jerrian Long, Tyler, Breanna, Dalton, Arizona and Robin Wilcoxson, Timothy Beard, Bobby and Dominque Wilcoxson; and three great grandchildren, Christian Cooper, Keeley Pitts and Sylus N. Beard.
