Patricia L. Schank

Patricia Lynn “Patty” Schank was born on April 30, 1943 to Charles O. and Marguerite L. (Minton) Bush.

In 1961 Patty graduated from Forest City High School. She married Marvin Jones, and they later divorced. She then married Loren Cordell “YoYo” Schank. He passed away on June 12, 2011.

Patty most recently lived in St. Joseph, Missouri. She enjoyed art and gardening, and was a talented vocalist.

Patty passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022 at the Oregon Care Center at the age of 79.

Also preceding her in death was her son, David Schank; and grandson, Zackery Pfleiderer.

Survivors include her sons, Kenneth (LaDonna) Jones of Oregon and Steven Jones, Savannah, Missouri; daughter, Theresa (Brian) Pfleiderer of St. Joseph; sister, Peggy Bush Edwards of Forest City; six grandchildren; and stepsons, Russell (Wendi) Schank of Overland Park, Kansas, Roger (Lorey) Schank of St. Joseph, and Randy (Shelly) of St. Joseph.

Services: Friday, June 17, 2022, 11:00 am, St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Forest City. Family will greet friends one hour prior to services. Interment: Maple Grove Cemetery. Care entrusted to Chamberlain Funeral Home, Oregon. Online condolences may be left at www.chamberlainfuneral.com.
