Peggy Ann Caputo

Peggy Ann (Nelson) Caputo, age 65, of Big Lake, Missouri, passed away at her home on June 5, 2017, surrounded by her family.
Peggy was born July 16, 1951, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Elmer V. and Ruth M. (Swoboda) Nelson.
A 1969 graduate of Marian High School in Omaha, Peggy was united in marriage on May 29, 1970, to H. Vincent Caputo. They made their home in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and later in Big Lake, Missouri.
Peggy was a medical transcriptionist for over 40 years, having worked at Mercy and Jennie Edmundson Hospitals, Jennie Edmundson Radiation Oncology and Heartland Oncology.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include husband, Vince Caputo, of Big Lake, Missouri; son, Andy Caputo of Columbia, Missouri; daughter, Megan Caputo (Todd Mclochlin) of Council Bluffs, Iowa; grandchildren, Ross and Taylor Nickerson, and Leah Caputo; sisters, Susan (Gerald) Nilsson-Weiskott, of Lago Vista, Texas, and Terrie (Fred) Juhl of Papillion, Nebraska; and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Services: Saturday, June 10, 2017, 11:00 am, Cutler O'Neill Funeral Home, Council Bluffs. Interment: Walnut Hills Cemetery.
