Peggy Sue Clinkenbeard

Peggy Sue (Kreek) Clinkenbeard, 73, passed away at the Oregon Care Center on August 15, 2018.

She was born in Oregon, Missouri, on September 26, 1944, the only child of John Thomas and Sadie (Prussman) Kreek.

Peggy graduated from Oregon High School in 1962, and then attended Northwest Missouri State University. On April 26, 1965 she married Ronald Clinkenbeard. He preceded her in death.

Peggy worked as a dietary manager in several healthcare facilities and was a member of the Oregon United Methodist Church.

She was also preceded by her parents; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Tom and Nancy Clinkenbeard, Rosie Winkelman and Diane Sneed.

Peggy is survived by her children, Rhonda (Loren) Cecil of Rock Port, Missouri; John (Cat) Clinkenbeard of Craig, Missouri and Sara Clinkenbeard of Rock Port; three grandchildren, Chrystal (Jesse) Ferguson of Rock Port, Lauren (Mike) Daugherty of Rock Port, and Thomas Cecil of Stanberry, Mo.; two great grandchildren, Chryson McQueen and Raylan Daugherty; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Janice and Jim Johnson of Kirksville, Mo., Dwight Sneed of Kahoka, Mo., and Alona and Robert Peters of Pittsfield, Illinois.; and nieces and nephews.

Family visitation: Sunday, Aug. 19, 2018, 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Chamberlain Funeral Home, Oregon. Services: Monday, Aug. 20, 2018, 10:30 am, Chamberlain Funeral Home, Oregon. Interment: Maple Grove Cemetery. Memorials: American Diabetes Association or Maple Grove Cemetery.
