Ramona "Winnie" Scott

Ramona Lee "Winnie" Scott, 87, passed away peacefully September 19, 2017 at Tiffany Heights Care Center.

She was born in Bigelow, Missouri on November 9, 1929 to Clarence and Alpha (Boyd) Mann.
Winnie married Melvin L. Scott in 1946, and they later divorced. Winnie was well known as a wonderful waitress in the Mound City area.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Linda Beesley and an infant, Delores; granddaughter, Melinda Dawn Gilland; and sister, Betty Rauch.
Survivors include her sons, Gregory (Dinah) Scott, Fayetteville, North Carolina and Leroy (Norma) Scott, Savannah, Missouri; seven grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family visitation: Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017, 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, Chamberlain Funeral Home, Mound City. Private interment: Mount Hope Cemetery, Mound City. Memorials: AseraCare Hospice, Mount Hope Cemetery Association or charity of donors choice.
