Ramona Jean Simerly was born December 12, 1943 in Maryville, Missouri to Carl M. and Helen M. (Handy) Anderson. Ramona attended school at Savannah, Missouri.
On June 28, 1962 she married Robert LeRoy Fuller. Robert passed away in 1973.
In 1987 she married Robert L. “Bobbie” Simerly. He passed away in 2020.
Ramona was head of housekeeping at the Oregon Care Center for many years.
Ramona passed away on Friday, September 29, 2023 at Oregon Healthcare at the age of 79.
In addition to her two husbands, Ramona was preceded in death by her parents; an infant brother, George Martin Anderson; and stepdaughter, Louanna (Simerly) Shields.
Survivors include her sons, Robert Wayne Fuller of Springfield, Missouri, Gary Fuller of Savannah, and David (Paula) Fuller of Forest City, Missouri; stepson, Jerry Lee Simerly; brother, Carl Anderson, Jr. and sister, Carlene Hass, both of Albuquerque, New Mexico; grandchildren, Bryon R. Fuller, Alex Fuller, and James Fuller; and great grandchildren, Everette Fuller, Hensley Fuller, Kegan Fuller, and Deklan Fuller.
Services: Thurs, 10:30 am, Chamberlain Funeral Home, Oregon. Family will greet friends one hour prior to services. Interment: Maple Grove Cemetery. Memorials: Maple Grove Cemetery or Forest City Union Cemetery.
