Ronald "Steve" Boyd

Ronald Steven “Steve” Boyd was born on October 23, 1941 in Fortescue, Missouri to John R. and Ramona J. (Lawrence) Boyd. Steve graduated from Craig High School.

Steve married Lillian Stafford, and they later divorced. On May 18, 1996 he married Lela Black. She survives of their Mound City home.

Steve worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for 40 years. He also drove a school bus.

Steve passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017 at his Mound City home.

Preceding him in death were his parents; son, Donald Boyd; and brother, Michael Boyd.

In addition to his wife, Lela, he is survived by sons, Ronald (Janece) Boyd of Savannah, Missouri, John Boyd of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Thomas (Debbie) Boyd of Council Bluffs; daughter, Vonda (Kevin) Belt of Council Bluffs; stepchildren, Aaron Foreman and Amanda (Dale) Evans, all of Council Bluffs, and Chad (Marie) Foreman of Cleburne, Texas; sister, Clara Marie Boyd of Cherry Valley, California; 20 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.

Steve enjoyed camping, motorcycles, and his dogs.
