Rosalie Clark

December 18, 1939 — October 23, 2012

Rosalie (Hawk) Clark was born in Nishnabotna, Missouri on December 18, 1939. 
She was one of eight children of Ruben H. and Bessie Rosanna (Johnson) Hawk.
Rosalie attended school at Fairfax, Missouri.
On May 24, 1958 she married Franklin E. Clark in Sidney, Iowa. They became parents
of three children.
 Rosalie worked at Mount Arbor and Henry Field Nurseries. She also worked at Pamida
and Walmart, both in Shenandoah.
 Rosalie passed away at her Hamburg, Iowa home on October 23, 2012.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Richard, Roy, and Elmer Hawk; 
and sister, Mildred Margaret “Dollie” Jackson, and nephews, David Lee Hawk, Jerry
Dean Kirk, and Billy Hulett.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Frank, of their home; sons Franklin E. Jr., 
Hamburg, Iowa, and Michael S. and his wife Kimberly, Omaha, Nebraska; daughter,
Vickie Jo Clark, Hamburg; brother and sister-in-law, Lawrence and Judy Hawk,
Thurman, Iowa; brother, Harold “Stubby” Hawk; sister and brother-in-law, Norma
and Gary Hulett, Rock Port, Missouri; two grandchildren, Shelby and Jacob Clark,
Omaha, Nebraska; nieces and nephews.
Rosalie enjoyed flower gardening, fishing, and quilting and knitting.
 
Services were held on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 11:00 am at the High Creek
Baptist Church in Watson. Interment was held at the High Creek Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to
the Alzheimer’s Association.
