Terry Lee Boswell

Terry Lee Boswell, 71, passed away in his Oregon, Missouri home on Friday, surrounded by his family. Terry was born on July 21, 1950 and died on August 27, 2021.  Terry endured an 18-month battle with a brain tumor.

Terry was preceded in death by his father, Robert and is survived by his mother, Rowena; his loving wife Lucy; his brother Rick & wife Janet Boswell; sister, Lisa Brotsch; children, Contessa & husband Dan Hunziger, Cassandra & husband John Joe Sanchez, Robert Boswell, Corinna & husband Seth Allen; and five grandchildren, Chenoa & Jacole Hunziger, Wade Acton, Orion & Isabella Boswell.  He was also loved by the Worldwide Brotherhood of Jehovah’s Witnesses, several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Terry met his sweetheart Lucy in Lancaster, California in December 1972, he fell head over heels in love and they were married August 25, 1973 in Las Vegas.  Terry and Lucy shared 48 wonderful years together building a life and creating a beautiful family together.

Terry dedicated his life by being baptized on June 21, 1974 as a  Jehovah’s Witness, he was a faithful loving brother who had the privilege of serving as a Ministerial Servant, in the North St. Joseph congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Terry served Jehovah to the fullest alongside the Worldwide Brotherhood in the most important work possible, teaching others about Jehovah and sharing his hope for the future.

Terry enjoyed many family trips throughout the United States with his family; along with watching movies, camping, playing cards, monster trucks, tractor pulls, horseshoes, corn-hole, watching the grandkids play ball. Also spending as much time as possible with friends and family.

A private family service will be held.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society at www.JW.org .
