Walter L. "Roy" Case

Walter LeRoy “Roy” Case was born in Watson, Missouri on September 29, 1931 to Walter M. and Hallie F. (Gaines) Case. He was raised in the Watson and Rock Port area, and graduated from Watson High School.

In 1952 he joined the U.S. Army, and was honorably discharged in 1954.

On August 29, 1970 he married Leslee Anna Hays in Pickering, Missouri. They moved to Omaha in 1993.

Roy passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at his Omaha home at the age of 81.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Paul Dean, and sisters, Sylvia Clodfelter and Marie Morrison.

Survivors include his wife, Leslee; daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and Kerry Crain of Hamburg, Iowa, Sheila and Dan Cooper of Rock Port, Bethany and Jesse Magana of Papillion, Nebraska, and Hallie and James Rodis of Bellevue, Nebraska; son and daughter-in-law, Aaron and Rebekah Mortimore of North Bend, Nebraska; sisters, Faye Sowle of North Platte, Nebraska, Doris Lingerfelt of Rock Port, Marge Palmer of Knob Noster, Missouri, Jean Mensen of Rock Port, and Alice Rader of Eagle, Nebraska; brothers, Kenneth Case of Plattsmouth, Nebraska and Joe Case of Windsor, Missouri; nine grandchildren, Toby and Sommer Crain, Chelsea Cooper, Paul Mortimore, Jordan Nielsen, Sarah Hudson, Allison Rycroft, Jessica Hegge, and Jamie Rodis; two great grandchildren, Jaysen and Jayven Hudson; and special friend, Lucas McFarland of Omaha.

Services were held on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Rock Port United Methodist Church. Family greeted friends one hour prior to services. Interment with military honors was at the High Creek Cemetery in Watson.
