Our Story
Chamberlain Funeral Home & Monuments is a family owned and operated business, founded in 1968 by Greg and Betty Chamberlain. Greg was a licensed embalmer and funeral director in both Missouri and Iowa, and a member of the Missouri Funeral Directors & Embalmers Association.
To the great sorrow of his family, friends, and associates, Greg passed away peacefully at his home on October 7, 2016. Betty eventually moved into her daughter and son-in-law's house. She passed away on December 16, 2021 surrounded by her children.
The family business is now operated by Greg and Betty's son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Lynn Chamberlain, who have worked at Chamberlain Funeral Home since 1987. Both Eric and Lynn are licensed funeral directors.
We do not use an answering service, but personally answer each phone call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are committed to serving each family as we would our own.
Also available is advanced planning for funeral, memorial, and cemetery services. We sell monuments through Van Vickle Monuments, Inc., located in St. Joseph, Missouri. We can customize just the right monument for you or your loved one.
